Animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar

Over 20 dinosaurs that move and roar.

Travel millions of years into the past on our dinosaur trail: more than 20 animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar as you walk among them. It is the first stop for almost every family and the one that gets the most photos of the day. Little ones go from startled to full of questions within minutes, and adults usually get just as hooked. If you are coming for the dinosaurs, this area alone justifies the trip. It is included in general admission, with no extra cost or booking required, and you can walk it at your own pace as many times as you want during the day.

Plumalia Show: an exhibition with 200+ birds

An exhibition with more than 200 birds.

Plumalia brings together an exhibition of more than 200 birds in a show designed for the whole family. Colors, flight and sound that surprise even visitors who had never paid attention to birds before. It is the moment in the route where children go quiet and just watch, which in a family park is no small thing. The show works equally well for a weekend family visit and for a school group, because it combines spectacle with real content about the species, their behavior and their care. It is included in general admission.

Aviary: get close to birds and macaws

Get close to birds and macaws.

Step into our aviary and discover different birds up close: their colors, sounds and behavior. It is an immersive experience — you do not watch them from outside a cage, you walk into their environment. Getting close to birds and macaws is one of the activities that works best with children, because the contact is calm and they learn to move slowly and respect the animal without anyone having to repeat it. It is one of the few aviaries in the city where kids can genuinely approach the birds instead of just watching from a distance.

Crocodiles and reptiles

One of the most impressive animals on the planet.

Meet one of the most impressive animals on the planet and learn about its characteristics and behavior from a viewing point designed to see them up close, safely. The crocodile and reptile area tends to generate the most questions of the whole route: how long do they live, how do they hunt, why do they stay still for so long. It is a short stop but a memorable one, and it contrasts nicely with the hands-on areas where children can actually get close to the animals.

Lemurs: meet them up close

Meet some very special residents up close.

Discover our curious lemurs up close and learn about their way of life, behavior and characteristics. Meeting the lemurs is, in practice, the favorite moment of most visits: they are active, curious and very expressive animals, so the experience is never the same twice. It is also the stop people share most afterwards. It is one of very few places in the city where you can get close to them rather than just watch from afar.

Turtle house: get close to the turtles

Meet them, learn and connect.

Come closer to the fascinating world of turtles and learn about their characteristics, diet and care. The turtle house is the calmest zone of the route and works well as a mid-visit breather, especially with small children who arrive wound up from the dinosaurs. Getting close to turtles is unhurried by nature, and that is exactly its value: it is where respect and care for animals are learned best, because it forces everyone to slow down. It is one of the areas teachers recommend most on school visits.

Petting farm: farm animals for kids

Hands-on contact with farm animals.

Get up close with the residents of our little farm. Meet different farm animals, learn about them and enjoy an activity designed to spark children’s curiosity and bring them closer to the animal world. For many children this is their first real contact with farm animals outside a book or a screen, and it shows on their faces. It is the area with the best reception among preschool and early primary visitors, and one of the reasons schools come back.

Hands-on animal experiences

Moments of contact and learning.

Enjoy special moments of contact and learning with some of the species in our park. More than seeing animals, the idea is that children spend time with them: approach, observe closely and understand how they are cared for. It is a fun way to teach respect and responsibility toward animals without it feeling like a lesson. These experiences are the reason the route is about interaction rather than rides: nobody gets on a ride here, everyone spends time with the animals.

Hanging bridges: test your balance

A fun challenge surrounded by nature.

Test your balance and enjoy the adventure of crossing our hanging bridges over the water. A fun challenge to explore, move and have a good time surrounded by nature. It is one of the favorite zones for children from six or seven years old, because it mixes the thrill of crossing with the satisfaction of having made it. Parents usually cross right behind and end up taking the photo from the far side. It is included in general admission and you can cross as many times as you like during the day.

Playground for the little ones

A space to play, explore and burn energy.

A space designed for little ones to play, explore and have fun. Different activities to burn energy and keep enjoying the adventure at Amazonia. It is the zone that saves the visit when the youngest have already seen every animal and still have energy to spare, and it works just as well for a birthday party as for a mid-afternoon break. It is covered, so it also helps when the sun is strong.
